Friends

Friends

Our lives ever changing
by the people that we meet
Some stand to greet us 
while others stay in their seat

Some of them are outgoing
and some of them are shy
We meet some for good reason
others leave us wondering why

This is where a friendship may start
and over time it will grow
But throughout our lives
we lose touch with some
For whatever reason I dont know

But you and I have a special bond
we've known it from the start
What it is I'm not quite sure
but I know you've captured my heart
