Friend so true, I thought of you,
As I went through my day.
The smile it brought, can't be bought,
It's in my heart to stay.
Friend so rare, nothing compares,
To the way you make me feel.
You make me smile, across the miles,
And it's so very real.
A friend like you, so rare and few,
God's been so good to me.
To grace me thus, with friends like us,
For friends we'll always be.
A friend like you, I love so true,
Forever and a day.
For in this heart, Your love imparts,
And will be there always.
