Friend

I am glad that you are here
for you give me courage when I fear.
With kind words you comfort me
and your bright smile let worries flee.
Your gentle touch is like a balm
and when you listen, it brings calm.
Through all life's seasons you have shown:
When you are here, I am not alone!
