Fresco Moon
FRESCO MOON
Moonbeams, my dear, shimmering,
as our ship rocks to the Caribbean beat.
We gaze over the rails, starlight glimmering
upon deep-dark waters, fresco upbeat.
Monet, would paint these waters, dear.
Revel in this masterpiece of flooded light.
The mystic sea ripples the universal mirror,
into our current, four-pieced crescent delight.
The moon, whole like us, as we’ve grown in love.
Mannah, dipped into the god-sized sea, so white,
like virgin silk, svelte as a sweet-honey dove.
Sweetheart, we are closer under this moonlit night.
