Freedom Wasn'T Free

Our freedom wasn't free
Men and women fought
Just for you and me
It had to be bought
For their life they gave, you see

That's why I always say
If it wasn't for them, too
Our freedom wouldn't be here today
So, next time, be sure and say thank you
For the price they had to pay
