Freedom of expression
Sets me free
When I stumble
Across 
My poetry.


Freedom of expression
Awakens me
As my words flow
With a pen and paper
To create my poetry.


Freedom of expression
Lives in me
As I set forth
My true essence.


Freedom of expression
Captivates me
As I release
All the words,
Feelings, thoughts.
Ideas, emotions,
Longing, ect.,
Into my poetry.


Freedom of expression
Toys with me
As I find the right words
To say just I feel,
Think and what is not
Into what looks like only
My poetry.



Freedom of expression
Suffocates me
With a cloud of emotion
As my hand
Tells all
In my poetry.



Freedom of expression
Is all I need
To show you the me
Behind the imagery
With my poetry.



Freedom of expression
Empowers me
As now I’m ready
To share with you
My poetry.
