Freedom From Unrest of Spirit
“Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful;
and the end of that mirth is heaviness.”* How awful!
That’s my restlessness-angst whenever I become deceitful…
And guilty of hypocrisy, lying or pretense, being untruthful.
I thank and praise God for His forgiveness’ assurance
As He pardons and cleanses me when I confess with faith's utterance.
Then by His grace, I practice reconciliation along sincerity's exuberance
To free me from unrest of spirit, and enjoy peace-filled deliverance.
*Proverbs 14:13 of the Scriptures
