Founded by patriots brave and bold
Fighters for liberties to have and to hold.
Rightly acting on convictions strong
Righteousness extended to where it belongs.
Enduring hardships beyond belief
Endeavoring to provide from oppression relief.
Enlisting those who would with them unite
Ever determined to do what was right
Deliberately moving to principle preserve
Distracted not – men of great nerve.
Oppression to them must be defeated
Optimistic that these not be repeated.
Memory should stir us to be greater resolved
Motivation should be ours to be greater involved.
