As in days before the virus We voyaged free as air Til rulers sought to confine us In penned and muzzled care Now with freedom at hand Yet with caution, unmanned We steal out cross the land So let’s fly once more As in days before

Well I'm with you on that. I've recently likened myself to a hedgehog waking from hibernation but instead of searching for food on waking I've been queueing for petrol. I enjoyed your poem Geoffrey; I just hope the world hasn't changed too much out there. Cheers - Gary
