Freedom

Freedom
It's not just about what country you live in
It's not about the rights you have. 
It's not about the religion you choose to practice
You also have the right not to choose one at all.
It's not about being able to stand up and speak your mind.                               
It's not about your right to vote 
Or your right to choose the life or death of the unborn
Freedom is a gift from God 
Starting with free will
Freedom was not given to be taken for granted
Men died for you to have freedom
Racism shouldn't exist in a free society
They watched friends die on the battlefield
 against tyranny for your children to live free.
It's a gift worth fighting for
 even when you really don't want to fight.
When we start respecting the gift
The wrongs in this country will be made right
The futures of your children deserve for us to get it right.
Black people, white people, native people, Mexican people
All people want to see their children grow up free and happy
It's time we let them.
