Freedom

On a hillside in a pasture of green
Taking in all the beauty sometimes never seen
In the distance the sun starts to sink
Pausing for a moment of reflection, quiet time to think
Atop her stallion of black and white
She looks at the moon lending its light
A sense of freedom as she glides through the misty night air
Feeling the cool breeze flowing through her hair
Her stallion guides her safely home
But in her heart, through the pasture, she will always roam
