FREEDOM If you don't dream What does life mean Just leave the fear behind Or where you've been. It's where you're going, Your goals and dreams The world is no longer What it seems. Addiction was stealing me Taking me away Losing everything Day by day by day. My aim is for freedom From all of this booze After all, I have Nothing to lose. Only hangovers,work absence, Arguing with friends Falling down in the street The list never ends. I am determined To try and stay clean, To never go back To where I have been. To reclaim my life And have natural highs Be there for my loved ones As the addiction dies.
