Freedom

Feel the freedom at last, Ramble freely in free world, Free from body, Free from dreams; Was always enslaved by duties, Until perched in body shell; Dreams and longings, Persuaded always, To be this, achieve that; Religion and social bindings, Always suppressed, Clenched my movements; Captivated mind towards the onus, Kids and kin were always in mind; Never was free for my own life, Always served as babe and mom, Until destitute old age; Once lived for kids and kin, They too distanced one by one; Lived all alone in lonely life, Until body, mind abandoned; Away from agony and pain, Flow like clouds; No end, no shore, Only freedom as nightingale, Frees from master's prison cage; © Sadashivan Nair
