Free To Be Me

What would I not give,
To be free for a day.
To just sit and while my time away.

To jump on a trampoline.
To swing high and low.
To just be a kid and to never grow.

What would I not give,
To be free for a day.
To be irresponsibe just for a day.

To forget all my worries.
To be free from a deadline.
And in the blue sky, like a bid to be flyin'

To lick lollies in summer.
To feel the raindrop on my brow.
To jump high, high now.

To pick daisies on a sunny day.
To run and feel the wind in my hair,
Through lush green fields without a care.

To do what I want to do.
To be who I want to be.
Because I am free to be me
