Free Slaves

People bought and sold as chattel
   Considered no more than cattle
This still goes on today, you see
In markets we are told are free

The difference being that the slave
once bought and sold for a fee
is now free to sell his services
then slave away ~ a new employee

I've certainly seen this, so I can attest to its truth, gw.

What can I say. We are all slaves to something, in a sense.

Free markets but slavery still in place however good when he is sold for a fee For he becomes free. The slave now free, sells his services and slaves away merely now, a new probably disgruntled, employee. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Sometimes I think that the only difference between the warden and the prisoners is that the wardens are on the outside of the locks.
