So
I started to see you 
but I kept selling my tickets
and you
You started to be beautiful
and you
you didn't even know it
I started to like you tonite and today
OK
This ticket is free

Denis Joe Date: 12/10/2008 9:54:00 AM A great poem: Succinct and full of itself. I like that 'So' and 'OK' are given their own lines as it helps to create two narratives within the one. The lines are exquisite. ‘You started to be beautiful’ made me realise that it is writing such as this that makes poetry such a great art form. But also within that feeling lies the link between the writer and the reader; the thing that sparks the imagination. Login to Reply
