Free Myself

Trapped like a caged bird
Can’t see the beautiful sun
That used to dry my wetted wings
I am dreaming of the day
I could be free and fly high
In the blue and shiny sky
Nevertheless I am hopeful
Because I realize that the keys are in my possession
But I don’t know where I hide them
I guess I hide them somewhere deep and secure
Shall I look into my soul, into my mind or into my heart?
Because those are the deepest and safest part of myself
I am confident and optimistic
For the keys are not in somebody else’s hands
So I know now that I can get free by myself
It may take a long time
But I am patient and I am ready to wait,
For that day will be the greatest one in my life.
