Free Me

Free Me Sitting here in a dark room filled with lies, and battered family ties. That bring so much hatred through these broken down eyes. Filling the pain wash over me. Like the nile river a sheet of grief placed over me. Trying to look beyond the window. Placed inside of me . Portraying the truth of what they really see. Wearing name brands and fake tans. begging, trying, pleading, to be anyone of the things they see in me. Trying hard swimming fast, breaking down every glass. Hoping to shatter past, of broken homes always alone. Staying in a grave of depression beyond belief, but as I step on to my thrown and the world hears my song. I finally feel free maybe one day free enough to be me.
