Free As I Want To Be

Free as I want to be
No control
no second thoughts just doing
I wish I didn't have a conscience sometimes
Maybe I could fly away
Free as I want to be
But you don't know
I wish you did
The things that keep me stuck
I'm forever on glue
Constantly trying to glide
But than my conscience steps in
I think I will forever be trapped in my mind
Trapped between reckless and safe
I don't want to be another statistic
Yet i'm bored as hell being average
Sometimes I let loose sometimes I pull tight
You never know what to expect with me
I don't.
Free as I want to be
Yet I'm afraid
Consequences are harsh life has taught me that from seeing
But I want to be free... Just for one moment
Live. Experience. Than hide under a blanket.
