Free

Everybody loves when it's free to take whatever at no cost
All the sacrifice you can not see in it all just getting tossed
Free will get them in the door and everyone will have a grin
But they won't want anymore if you start talking about sin

Free always has strings attached and that little fine print
There's always a new plan hatched trying to make a mint
Free is anything but free costing more than you thought
Because you'll never see what you had originally sought

But there is One thing that is free and fulfills every claim
You needn't pay a fee being accepted as One in the same
You only need to open up your heart and clear your mind
In soon realizing you are a part in the Glories you will find

He already paid the price suffering and dying on a Cross
God's own Son as a Sacrifice and you simply merely toss
Go and take another look remembering to open up your heart
Know that satan is the biggest crook so stay away from his cart

Your work shouts of a subtle wisdom gently distributed throughout your poem. You are a loving soul and are devastated by the inhumanity you witness and the helplessness of making a difference. Emile.
