Frankensteins Castle Sounds Fun
We are going to Frankenstein’s Castle Mom said.
Lucy was all excited, dancing around on top of her bed.
Johnny and Josie were looking with dubious eyes.
But Lucy was lighting up as quickly as a sudden sunrise.
It’s going to be wonderful! Lucy yelled at her siblings.
She was giddy, and girly and her saliva had dribblings.
Johnny and Josie were both scared, not sold at all.
Lucy told them to grow courage, and ran out toward the hall.
Lucy is so brave! Her siblings said. And she was the young one.
At six, she was three years behind them, but she was the fun one.
That night they entered Frankenstein’s Castle at a quarter after six.
A shriek was heard around the county, it was Lucy. Was it a trick?
Lucy ran out screaming, refused to go back no matter how much she was coaxed.
What did you see? Johnny asked her, wondering if she had been hoaxed.
Not sure, Josie said as she came out to relieve him so he could go back in.
But her courage has left her for sure. Thee was quivering on Lucy’s little chin.
