Framed Love

I put the love I used to have in a frame, and hung it on the wall. I'll hold it in my hands...cry awhile then put it back...step back and smile. I'm learning to let go of the man that took my heart, but will never leave behind. His memories will linger always in my mind. God knows what is best for me. Maybe it was meant to be this way. I'll give love a fair chance with the man I have today. Eventually I'll smile as big, and laugh just as loud. I'll treasure what I used to have, and what I have now will make me just as proud. The picture frame is filled with love, and it will never fade away. I will walk by and give a glance, and smile to know i'm giving love a second chance.
