Framed

The mood is framed by last night's rain
Fog clings like beggarlice
Damp air with pastel view of sky
Fog and mist wraps with ice

The roosters sing in alto chorus
Against shrouded white sky
A bird flew with short wings-sings-flies
Amazing feat so high

It is wonderful cool like fall
A day made to enjoy
Despite the circumstance there's good
Be glad in it rejoice

Today is the day for the surgery
Around 2 or 3 this afternoon
We have to be there at noon
I plan on doing a contest when
I return_THINK about a paragraph
then turning it into a poem
DETAILS later...
