Frailty's Cup

From the hollows of the cup
innered out but not enough
frailty lies and bottom dwells
residue of poison
From the sip once took of it
bellied up and stunned a bit
sharp words swallowed down the drain
to stab at vital organs
From the stomach to the heart
frailty pulls the valves apart
stopping beats of what once was
bolts of electric slowed
From the heart up to the brain
to peel the rind upon insane
and snuggle next to confidence
pushing each button slowly
From the brain now left to sleep
back to tongues unknown, to weep
a property thus becomes full blown
and frailty has found a brand new home.
