Frailties

FRAILTIES Greedy, vain, pompous, Lying, cheating, villainous I am all these things - be admonished I am guilty - should be punished Human nature is not what it seems Real life is different to dreams Ideal people do not exist Temptation is too hard to resist. Human weaknesses, inadequacies - And all of my frailities - Are listed without end In Bible and Koran, In Bhagavad Gita and Analects - I am imperfect. Weakness is not just in man or woman My main frailty is that I am human.

oh , to love an imperfectly perfect person, sydney.. a deep, seering piece that starts the the mental / emotional gears going...all the way through, the reader gets involved in putting all the pieces together... fantastic! best of win in the contest thanks for visiting me; much appreciated!! the story about my brother is true in every pace of it... it was hard, tough writing it but time has a way of softening the blow.. all the best :) nette
