Fragrance

A gentle breeze,
Slow and steady,
Turned and turned,
Turned the leaves over,
Over and over.

In every slight turn,
The rustle echoed rhythm-
The beat of a warm heart;
In every swift turn,
Glimpse of a delicate glow,
Diffused all through my heart,
All and all, through and through.
In every soft turn,
Divine flow of devotion
Drifted into my heart,
Out and out, out and out,
Oozing out adoration.

The leaves flew by,
By and By,
One by one.

Every leaf,
Every turn-
Slight, swift, soft-
Filled with fragrance.
In my art, in my heart,
It lingers and lingers!
