Fragments
A lifetime, a fragment of many,
a tessera is more, not less,
part of a human mosaic
in particular dress
Diverse we are, but yet the same
whether unknown or wrapped in fame,
living anywhere or whence we came,
is more, not less
Fragments do vary in size of slice
savored
by those who taste its spice,
so easy it is to partake unaware,
forgetting
that fragments need to share
artfully thanking those who care,
much more, not less
