Fragile Or Not

on the outside I'm a diamond my edges cut through glass I am up for the challenges rally to each task I make the decisions and stand by each one I shoot from the hip my aim is right on inside I am soft, fragile as a pearl lustrous I shine, but easily break that's why I don't let very many get close they will see the charade, and then it's too late perfect I'm not...never claimed to be I don't mean to maim others and won't let them maim me I tell you this first, as it all begins you are one of the few, that I'm letting in
