Fragile Daisy

She's small and Fragile.
Her body is weak.
But her smile is radiant.
So welcoming and sweet.

Each day she grows.
Not in size.
But in herself.
 Her confidence over flows.
With each new Petal that is seen.

Her hair is growing.
Just like her stem.
She is beginning to grow now.
Welcoming all new friends.
Her life hasn't been long.
But she knows some.
Like how frightful she feels
When the storm comes.

When the wind howls.
The rain feels like knives.
Her small body holding on
For dear life.
Her body sways from side to side.
Her petals fall as she begins to die.
Her smile still stays because she knows
She's a daisy.
She will come back to grow.
