small and fragile things youth flying on wings, small ripples touching the borders of our beliefs. freckled skin, stipples and bumps, a high-lighted road where everything's owed. memories made within the refinement of each retelling. Each life a fabric of garments we wear here and there, a stain or tare. we watch ourselves be made finest thread, dullest blade. Desperately trying to remove each stain; taking great pain to improve our appearance. look our very best, lest, we are judged and fail the test; becoming smudged and unacceptable. each fine gift we bring wrapped with unbroken string a fragile story too many are given to carry.
