Four Walls

Inside this room my soul cries out swallowing up the silence Pain weighs within my bones becoming bricks preventing me from moving The ceiling fan spins around all alone, chasing its tail searching for what it lost These four walls know but secrets they keep tears they hide as a friend, you confide Until my wounds heal keep my secrets hide my tears

Claustrophobia rears its ugly head. Great script, Donny. Good job.

Sometimes I put in some tough poems, sometimes lighter. You have a lot of deeply sad poetry here. Hope some of it is art for arts sake. But I like this one, was into dealing and seeing a lot of suffering from pain this week. This is very nice. Laying down and the ceiling fan spins. Tears the walls hide. Very nice.
