~ A Poem for Passover ~
Four questions
Four cups of wine
Four kinds of sons
Four heroines in line
Leah, Rachel, Bilha, Zilpa
Four mothers, twelve sons
Accompanied Jacob to Pharaoh's land
at the command of the One
God Of Israel, Who yet hears
four mothers' descendants' pain
and frees them each year from Egypt
to extol His Name once again
