Found In the Trees...

if you were lost in the trees

would you just wander about

and embrace the enticing breeze

and stop trying to figure it out

would you lay down in the leaves

and watch the shadows lengthen

with the air falling in degrees

as the glow of the stars would strengthen

so if you are ever lost in the trees

just forget that you had something to do

because it will be moments like these

when you find the path inside of you

So lovely it gave me chills, Luke. It's so wise to "embrace the enticing breeze" and breathe in all that nature has to offer instead of being worried about being "lost in the trees." The last line is so poignant! Indeed, it is in moments of deep reflection that we find the right path. Beautiful writing, Luke!
