Forlorn

Silent
           the mowers
in
Spring
                   gardens
awash
           with April
rain
                   forlorn
the days-eye
off-white
half-open
                     morn
wistful
           waiting
a
warm
                 dawn
I
doze and
dream
                  of
                  you
