Forgotten Places
In a forgotten place where we used to lose ourselves,
endless play with joyful tears of laughter. We still
knew fear yet it took a back seat, almost as if an
emotion in defeat.
Our friendships were our bond,
I think that's what kept us strong. Young hearts that
ached for discovery, adventure and mischief. We would
cause no harm so no need to give us grief.
We are all young once, let us grow with few restraints.
We shall stand up and take the blame facing our own shame.
That is what set us free reaching up on our own two feet.
