Forgotten Garden

The garden grumbles with unruly weeds, petals sigh into broken loam, no footsteps find the gate.

This write carries the weight of life Alesia. It's quite profound with excellent words choice. You are very talented with saying alot, deeply with few words. All be reclaimed, particles repatriated to the atoms of age, by the jealous grip of Nature's erogenous economy. By the way, Bruce Springsteen made a great song titled, Secret Garden, you may like it. Oddly, this piece reminds of this song. Also Poetess, your lovely and energetic responses to my poetry are precious to me...J.A.B.

Thank you, Justin--your words always land like poetry themselves. I’m truly honored that this piece brought to mind Secret Garden--I know the song, and I’m smiling now at the connection. There’s something quietly sacred about what Nature keeps and what she gives back, and your phrase “jealous grip” says it better than I ever could. Your thoughtful feedback is a gift, and your own verses are a garden I always enjoy stepping into.
