Forgotten Family

I was alone in the darkness of life
Not knowing where to go or where I have been
You forgot about me,
Leaving me in the cold world to fend for myself
You forgot about me,
Not knowing if I lived or died
You forgot about me,

Now 20yrs later you hear I am rich
Now you remember me,
Reminding me of memories long forgotten
You remember me,
Begging for my forgiveness
Finally you remember me,
Reminding me of your birth rights,
And reminding me of all you have been through
Asking me for money....
I forget you…
