Forgotten

From whence he came I knew him not, He came from where time had been forgot, The Eleysian fields where the heroic stay , And life is sweet on every day, Of battles fought and life blood gone, And slaughter of the awful nongs, death with sickle came along Though they died they were not today, Forgotten.

And their glory hangs heavy over the field of battle too bright for most to view.

Awesome write here Don! You definitely traveled to the Dream world with this poem! I really enjoyed the fact you brought up the Eleysian fields, that was very interesting! And the part of a line, "...where time had been forgot..." It's really a special statement to me, I love poetry based on time....and even the lack of time!! Wonderful Work!!
