Forgiving Who I Need To

As I begin to write on this paper, The word "forgive" lingers in my head, But I'll get back to that in just a few, First there's something that must be said, As I kneel down at The Gates of Heaven, And God patiently walks up to me, The words I wanna hear are these seven, "You may come inside with Me Justin," But before all that happens I must forgive, Forgive my mom who is already in Heaven, It's going to take time but I'll forgive my dad, Let them both know I'm no longer mad, The ones that laughed at me as I grew up, They kept me so afraid I dropped out of school, Yes I will forgive all of them too, I know now they were just trying to be cool, And finally before I meet The Man Upstairs, I will have to forgive myself as well, For the wrongs I've done throughout my life, There's no way I want to be sent to hell, God I want You to know I love You and, I will devote my time doing what's right, That way I will never have to worry about, Losing out on living eternity in Your Light!!
