Forgive Thee

Hardened heart, once was not, how did this replace, take its spot?

Spot on thy heart, I have inflicted upon thee, blinded by emotion, I did not see

Guilt , heartache if you will, my words spoken went in, in for the kill

Distant and empty you are today, has left me in a world of dismay

Forgiveness an impossible illusion, can be achieved, even by this heart , whom Ive deceived

I long for the day you can have mercy upon me, for I am nothing unless the you and I become we

My heart so desperate to renew, will do anything to go from one back to two

I love you with a depth beyond comprehension, lets replace the old, create a new intervention

My love so you see, I am lost , can not be, the woman I was intended to be

For you are the very reason I want to be better

Be a new me...................
