Notes About The Poem

Forgive But Never Forget

Forgiveness releases conflicts and has a clean soul effect. Only positive thought may repair broken relationships Resolutely communicate after cooling down Grievances must be put aside in order to pardon. If you've apologized, you are indeed good. Venerate to be able to forgive various rage of life. Elevate peace, embrace, and aid in the exorcism of evil spirits.   Be excuse-making let penance be, and you pretend. Unflappability; not in a short period of time afterward Tolerance demands you to have a twisted, restless mind.   Normal person suffers in a sick culture and is not tolerated. Explore a lawful premise to assist with the goal of relationships. Victim is punished by his ego, enraged, and seeks retribution. Each battle is never finished until the moment it ends. Resilience is the same as confidence, and confidence is faith.   Forgiveness is more valuable than the wrongdoer's harm. Others are cruel to you. Promise not to let hatred consume you. Reconciliation based on honesty is better than just respect. Gain excuse and sensitivity as you stream quickly and nimbly.  Even the solid might be forgiven; strong men tend to disregard. Thusly, one may enlighten others while slowly healing himself.

Hello Lasaad, I agree that forgiveness is more meaningful than the harm from the wrong doer, for the wrong doers do not heal. The last verse says it all. enjoy your day my friend.

Such wonderful advice, Lasaad. We only hurt ourselves when we harbor anger toward another. It's always best to forgive and let go. We always need to move on, and so, we must let go of what prevents us from doing so.

So true dear friend MILTON, we always need to be compassionate and leave our resentments away. That's better for our health, and it takes 72 muscles to frown and only 14 to smile.

We shouldnt carry the burden of resentment because it eats us up inside, we should overcome our pride, forgiving is easy, forgetting not so much. Tom

Great acrostic. Not easy to forget. We all have our memories. What I hate most is that a wrongdoer twist his fact to suit his purpuse.

A wonderful piece of free verse Lasaad, and acrostic form too, your message of forgiveness is absolutely correct, but alas very difficult to put into practice, not because it’s erroneous, but because ego and resentment is so difficult to park up, I do hope reader’s appreciate the meaningfulness in your work, like I do, cheers David

Thank you for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback, David. Because of our human nature and our ego, using right conduct is difficult, yet universal ideals such as these are not threatened, and people should not lose sight of them. In current times when all values are distorted, exhibiting polite ideals is always fun.
