Forgive
What does it mean to truly forgive?
To make peace with the heartache others choose to give?
Maybe the heartache given is just a reflection of their feelings
toward the life they are living.
Maybe the pain they cause has nothing to do with you at all.
To forgive however, does not mean bringing them back in your life
to cause the pain forever.
Let go of the sorrow, let go of the pain.
That is true forgiveness in that you truly gain.
When someone slaps you down, turning the other cheek does not mean you are weak.
It simply means this one thing you choose to do.
Forgive.
