Forgetting To Remember
I lost the light of the sky
When you placed a cloud above my head
So dark it blocks out my own shadow
And I cant feel any more which way the wind blows
I feel the chill your placing upon me
Like a spell I wont awake from
Forgetting to remember, you make feel me feel rough standing on smooth
And I cleared a smooth path that became a mountain pass
Trying to work out what day it is
Wishing you didnt come about
I leave my past where it belongs
But you found it and brought it along
Forgetting to remember your nothing good to me
I lost the light of the sky
You gave me no time or reason why
But I keep forgetting to remember that anything great I know
You can turn into a worse nightmare in the same room
I thought I found my way out to paradise
But you made me hurt a little but more
I;d go the distance but feel like I am losing more
Forgetting to remember your the reason I feel closing in walls
Trying to work out what day it is
Wishing you didnt come about
I leave my past where it belongs
But you found it and brought it along
Forgetting to remember your nothing good to me
