Forgetting

As with each day comes and goes,
I feel that the happiness just grows and grows,
without you, life goes on,
without you, my pain's just gone,
maybe you were what was causing it?
And as I'm here, as I sit
in my place here,
wondering why I held you so dear,
maybe I held onto hope that you were the one,
when you were just another one who sewn
your name into my brain,
and made it rain
in my world
she is gone, that girl,
she may come back and say I love you
I need you
but this time
I think this is the end of my rhyme
there is no reason to hold onto you anymore,
with my heart you moped the floor,
and now with my tears,
I drive away my fears,
and if you ask me why,
I'll simply say goodbye

that girl who has hurt you can be seen through the words just be sure of it before you make a mistake and lose someone close in your life that might not have meant it the way you saw it

poetry is a tease, like a bad lover.
