Forget Me Not

On her right arm a beautiful blue tattoo comes alive But her face holds a sadness that crushes what her arm strives In my eyes her perfection was only missing by a sweep of smiles But if only I had looked much closer I would have seen That the beautiful flower had a yellow stain within A message of ‘forget me not’ is all she’s been saying.
