Forget Me Not

How does one say good-bye to friends you have loved?
For you have loved them for such a long time.
Do you see, my friend, that I cannot say good-bye, only hello
For I shall see you again, in time.
It could be only a day or it may be many times fold.
Good-byes I shall not say!
Think of you I shall, so to never be alone.
Memories become my company when I miss you
For I am not gone!
Close to you, I will always be, as you for me.
Once, I gave you support when needed.
Hold onto this, for I shall always cherish those times.
For you were also there for me.
Do not look behind yourself or up ahead in front.
I shall be walking beside you, thinking of times we shared.
To say good-bye, I think not!
Good-bye is forever and that will not do.
As long as there are memories of a day when we became friends
There will never be a good-bye.

Memories become my company when I miss you For I am not gone!" these lines were amazing, the rhyme flowed nicely and the power of the words and how they are put together has me speachless; its simple, yet powerful and relateable.
