Forget Me Not

The only kiss I didn't want to make, Was the one I laid on your head, With your arms wrapped around, We didn't make a single sound, Our time my darling came to an end, Long ago before life's unexpected bend. Look at me for one last time, I want to remember those sweet eyes, I know they are filled with tears, Mine too, Damn these goodbyes. As I tuck your hair behind your ear, I'm letting go my dear, I will turn my back, To get back on track, To become the man I should have been, The one you should have seen, I'm sorry for hurting you, If I could ask just one last thing, Forget me not, My darling.
