Forget Everything

By Laura Dee Battle

Ecstasy, don't fail me now
I'm not feeling very well
Fill me up with melodies
Forget my tainted memories

Make it all just disappear
Untill my ears are crystal clear
We made the distance fade
Take me down into the grave

Don't make this about anything
I never speak of perfect things
Shroud your thoughts in fantasy
Remove your head from suffering

Don't we all live in hell that we dwell
Smile like everything is really swell
Let go of reasoning that heaven brings
See the waste of all it sings

I made a call for the sake of a different sound
I took a chance 'cause my mind will never be found
I want to make every day full of random decay
Inhale the deep without wondering "oh what would they say?"

I fall asleep at night
Leave behind all my things
I fall asleep at night
And I die one more time, then I do it again

Singing forget everything
Forget everything...
