Forevermore

Our toes, so numb
As the river trickles around
A blue butterfly whispers
Without making a sound

Three little ducklings
Waddle on the other side
I want some hunny
That that bee will provide

Listen to the
Waters song
In perfect harmony
With the wind along

The willow tree branches
Sway in the wind
Dipping their tips
In the waters end

Wet grass turning
My jeans green
He picks up a flower
So aquamarine

Then the sunset
In the west
Atop of that big
Mountain crest

Leaning on
His muscular shoulder
As the sun sets
I get even colder

A perfect picture
In my mind
With his hand
And mine intertwined

We are in love
Forevermore
Watching the sunset
On this rivers shore
