Forever Your Girl

Forever your girl, long hair and eyelashes in curls.
Dazed and confused with a life time to loose.
Too many roads, and doors to choose.
The clock is ticking, the alarm is about to go off and I can't answer it.
I never thought it would be this hard.
All I want is the white picket fence and a great big yard.
It can go so many ways you know, left...right...
One minute in front of you and the next it's out of sight.
Wanting the 'american dream'
Birthday cakes and chocolate ice cream.

This was the first poem I ever wrote.

You have made a pretty good job of the first poem. The last line is delicious. And yes Jennifer I do try and curb myself from judging my daughter.
